My name is Devora Stern (some people call me Deborah). I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.

I opened Perspectives Counseling Services because I wanted to create a safe environment where people can feel wholly accepted and cared for, while working to let go of thought patterns and behaviors that are holding them back from living their best lives. 

For nine years, I worked with elementary and middle school students and their families at the University of Maryland School Mental Health Program, mostly in West and Southwest Baltimore City. 

For over three years, I have been providing case management services through a non-profit charity organization in Baltimore. 

I've been teaching college students about Psychology for over 14 years. I love learning about people and helping them learn to accept themselves and find new perspectives on life.
